Compassion crowns the soul with its truest victory.
Abhijit Naskar
In most cases, people argue over the term God, without having the perception of another person's own idea of the word. Hence, often people with an atheistic perspective of the world attribute the God of many religious individuals to be an angry, authoritarian and vengeful God who acts like a human being and lives in the clouds or in heaven. But the irony is, most religious individuals do not conceive God in an anthropomorphic or angry way. Rather, in their personal psychological domain of religious or spiritual beliefs, they conceive God in more abstract, spiritual and merciful way.
Abhijit Naskar
The term spirit might have evolved in a mystical fashion, but in today's civilized and thinking society, it refers to simply your inner self. Spirit is the self, and the self is the soul. Hence, a spiritual person is a person who is more interested in realizing his or her inner self, than giving in to any conformity of the society.
Abhijit Naskar
Quite surprisingly the majority of religious and spiritual practices actually diminishes your brain's ability to act out of rage and fear.

There are two types of seeds in the mind: those that create anger, fear, frustration, jealousy, hatred and those that create love, compassion, equanimity and joy. Spirituality is germination and sprouting of the second group and transforming the first group.

The way I see it, our natural human instinct is to fight or flee that which we perceive to be dangerous. Although this mechanism evolved to protect us, it serves as the single greatest limiting process to our growth. To put this process in perspective and not let it rule my life, Iexpect the unexpected;make the unfamiliar familiar;make the unknown known;make the uncomfortable comfortable;believe the unbelievable.

I promise from now on to always make time for at least one more. One more chapter before I turn out the light and float off to sleep. One more kiss before I sink into this sea of words and search for meaning to bring back up with me. One more stretch and one more wiggle of my toes before I jump out of bed; and one more moment in meditation before I re-emerge. One more full, deep breath and one more look at the sunset. One more touch, one more smile, one more moment of stillness, of gratitude, of simplicity, of love. From now on, I'll always make room for one more because you never know when one more is all you'll ever have.

Don't hide your hurt, beautiful soul. Grab a hold of it. Run it through the purifying flame of your heart and mold it into something beautiful. Allow the depths of your pain to expand the breadth of your compassion. Gather up your stumbling stones and build a bridge for someone else. Remember what it's like to be lost in darkness so you can be someone else's much needed light. Don't deny your pain or bury it away. Let it rise to the surface. And then transform it into something that makes it worthwhile.

Dada Bhagwan
People in the world ask for forgiveness, but [true] 'pratikraman' does not happen by doing that. That is like when people casually say 'sorry' or 'thank you'. Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
To change from inauspicious [bad] to auspicious [good] can be done, through egoism. But egoism is not required to come to pure-state from auspicious-state. Therefore, conduct yourself with caution from the beginning so that you are not shaken up during time of painful experiences.

The worldly life means a factory of pain and pleasure.
Dada Bhagwan
People on the worldly path, to them 'we' say, 'Practice complete honesty. If you cannot do that, then practice honesty within principle of limits. If you cannot do that and if you practice dishonesty, do it within limits. This principle is indeed what will take you further ahead.
Dada Bhagwan
In this world, there is no such thing as good or bad. If there is flower shop on one side and a butcher's shop on the other, why should we keep spitting? You have to leave away both the bad as well as the good.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
Every human being needs security. The one, who does not have security, will be in fear. So he will look for security outside if he does not get it at home. The Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] is the only one who does not need any security. The Gnani is considered to be free from all dependency (niralamb). Others will take support from Him, but He will not take any support. Only the Gnani Purush can remain free from dependency in this world.
Dada Bhagwan
There is no means other than vitrag-science (science that frees us from all attachments) that will give Final-Liberation [Moksha]. Other means [methods, instruments] will cause bondage; they only help to pass the time; [whereas] means to attain the Eternal Thing (experience of Pure Soul) can be attained from the 'Gnani Purush' (the enlightened one).
Dada Bhagwan
I' with 'my' is known as the embodied Soul [Jivatma]. 'I am' and 'All this is mine' is the state of an embodied Soul [Jivatma]. And 'I indeed am' and 'All this is not mine', is the state of the Absolute Supreme Self [Parmatma]!!!
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
Interfering in the worldly life is impure action (ashuddha vyavahar).
Dada Bhagwan
If you have a complaint about someone, then you become the accuser and the other becomes the accused. Never complain about anyone. He who brings a complaint is at fault, you should understand that first, then comes next, the talk about the accused.
Dada Bhagwan
If a person were to get stuck in attachment induced entrancement for any worldly thing for just one hour, then it will last for a hundred years! Because of pleasure resulting effects and intents of engrossment, an indulging bad habit will last one day of Brahma (many many years), therefore it is not worth focusing our awareness anywhere (other than our true self, pure soul).
Dada Bhagwan
In the current era, to take adjustments in worldly interactions is knowledge (Gnan). One is to adjust to 'disadjustments'.
Dada Bhagwan
Spirituality [Nischay] means complete truth and worldly interactions means truth to a certain extent.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
Beastliness means taking that is unrightful [of someone's else right], eating that is unrightful, thinking of accumulating things which is unrightful [not of one's own right]. There is no problem in whatever comes to us rightfully [of which we are worthy of owning it].
Dada Bhagwan
Once the illusion (branti) goes away, one can see 'as it is', and that is why ignorance goes away. When ignorance goes, maya (deceit) goes. Once God's maya is gone, the solution is found.

Circumstances can change through worldly knowledge (ignorance of the self, the Soul) and also through (true) knowledge (realization of the self). With ignorance, circumstances will bring entanglements and with (true) knowledge, circumstances will bring solutions. (True) Knowledge itself changes circumstances. Is God likely to come down and do so?
Dada Bhagwan
There is a vast difference between sakshibhaav [being a witness; witnessing state] and Gnata-Drashta bhaav [Knower-Seer state]. Some saints may have attained sakshibhaav but they [still] have to make efforts to progress further. Despite sakshibhaav, their illusion [bhranti] has not gone. The ultimate state is the one of Gnata-Drashta.
