Compassion crowns the soul with its truest victory.

Quite surprisingly the majority of religious and spiritual practices actually diminishes your brain's ability to act out of rage and fear.
Abhijit Naskar
The term spirit might have evolved in a mystical fashion, but in today's civilized and thinking society, it refers to simply your inner self. Spirit is the self, and the self is the soul. Hence, a spiritual person is a person who is more interested in realizing his or her inner self, than giving in to any conformity of the society.
Abhijit Naskar
In most cases, people argue over the term God, without having the perception of another person's own idea of the word. Hence, often people with an atheistic perspective of the world attribute the God of many religious individuals to be an angry, authoritarian and vengeful God who acts like a human being and lives in the clouds or in heaven. But the irony is, most religious individuals do not conceive God in an anthropomorphic or angry way. Rather, in their personal psychological domain of religious or spiritual beliefs, they conceive God in more abstract, spiritual and merciful way.

Be a survivor of the past, not a reviver of it. Your attention to that painful past either by resisting it or by consistently focusing upon it will continue to persist it. The present will continue to be powered by, and become a product of that painful past, Until you begin to acknowledge, allow and accept the past, it will continue to become your future. There are two types of seeds in the mind: those that create anger, fear, frustration, jealousy, hatred and those that create love, compassion, equanimity and joy. Spirituality is germination and sprouting of the second group and transforming the first group.

The way I see it, our natural human instinct is to fight or flee that which we perceive to be dangerous. Although this mechanism evolved to protect us, it serves as the single greatest limiting process to our growth. To put this process in perspective and not let it rule my life, Iexpect the unexpected;make the unfamiliar familiar;make the unknown known;make the uncomfortable comfortable;believe the unbelievable.

Maybe the moon just lost herself gazing too long at the brilliance of the sun and that's how she got her glow. And maybe we're made of the same mysterious sort of magic that makes us magnify and mirror whatever we look at the most.
Cristen Rodgers
Don't hide your hurt, beautiful soul. Grab a hold of it. Run it through the purifying flame of your heart and mold it into something beautiful. Allow the depths of your pain to expand the breadth of your compassion. Gather up your stumbling stones and build a bridge for someone else. Remember what it's like to be lost in darkness so you can be someone else's much needed light. Don't deny your pain or bury it away. Let it rise to the surface. And then transform it into something that makes it worthwhile.

I promise from now on to always make time for at least one more. One more chapter before I turn out the light and float off to sleep. One more kiss before I sink into this sea of words and search for meaning to bring back up with me. One more stretch and one more wiggle of my toes before I jump out of bed; and one more moment in meditation before I re-emerge. One more full, deep breath and one more look at the sunset. One more touch, one more smile, one more moment of stillness, of gratitude, of simplicity, of love. From now on, I'll always make room for one more because you never know when one more is all you'll ever have.

Dada Bhagwan
When the mind and the Self (Soul) become engrossed (tanmayakar) only then it is called artadhyan (mournful contemplation that hurts the self), and also one does not become aware that artadhyan has occurred. And if one realizes that artadhyan has occurred, then it is not called artadhyan; then it is the mind.
Dada Bhagwan
The Gnani Purush simply makes the separation in one's vision: 'This is the vision of the Soul, the real Self' and 'this is the vision of the worldly self'. Otherwise a person can never make this change in his vision. One's vision of 'I am Chandubhai' (vikalpi drashti) will never become the vision of 'I am the Pure Soul' (nirvikalpi drashti).
Dada Bhagwan
No one can bother the one who has not interfered in the slightest with anyone. If such a person were to go into a town of robbers, the robbers will welcome him with respect and offer him food. No matter how many diamonds he would have with him, the robbers would not be able to touch them. Otherwise they would rob even the one who is accompanied by ten policemen.
Dada Bhagwan
There is no pleasure in Jalebi (dessert); the pleasure is in your imagination.
Dada Bhagwan
If you try to do that which is not 'our' duty [the Self's duty], it will create interference.
Dada Bhagwan
That which is external, it is instrumental (naimitik); it is relative and it is perishable [destructive]. Instrumental means no one has a say in it. One's actions are not of his own free will; he is under the control of external power. So on what basis do you need to object? Sooner or later you will have to become free from objections.
Dada Bhagwan
Where one does not do planning, it is all pure 'discharge'. 'Charge' occurs where there is planning. Discharge is a natural characteristic. There is no pain in it.

Dada Bhagwan
Even the slightest criticism of others is an impediment (hindrance) to Absolute Knowledge (Kevalgnan, Absolute Enlightenment). It also hinders Atmagnan (Knowledge of the Self), also hinders Samkit (Self-realization).
Dada Bhagwan
When can it be said that one has entered into spirituality? Spirituality begins from the moment one gets the slight impression 'I am somewhat different from this [the body?]' And when dehadhyas, the belief of 'I am the body, the relative self', goes away; that is when spirituality is complete.
Dada Bhagwan
Charity (Daan) means to make another living being happy, whether it is a human being or some animals, giving happiness to them, that is what is called Charity. Dada Bhagwan
The danger lies in how your 'surplus time' is spent. If the 'surplus time' is spent for one's own Soul, then it is (like) watering your own farm, but when it is used for other things [other than one's own self], it is wasted water. Therefore, anyone whose 'surplus time' is spent on the Self, all his time is considered to have gone towards one's own Self [The Soul].

One has thieving intention himself, otherwise no one can ever steal from him; no one can ever rob him. One's own intention does the stealing; the thief is simply instrumental (nimit) in that. Really, the account is one's own.
Dada Bhagwan
For how long will you keep on wandering around for infinite lifetimes? Your own light is not there. For how long will you keep on wandering in the dark? One has walked for billions and billions of miles and yet he has not seen the light. He has not found the right path. The truth will have to be known, will it not?
Dada Bhagwan
If the outside [our outside circumstances] has become spoilt so be it, don't let the inside [our inner intent] spoil. Egoism of the ignorant stage (ignorance of the true self) is considered live egoism. It becomes lifeless after attaining knowledge of the Self. Dada Bhagwan
One simply goes around doing egoism and then ultimately he ends up on the wood of the funeral pyre; such is the pitiful state. And if one is a very good person, he will be cremated with sandalwood. But it is all wood in the end. The true victor is the one who never dies.
