Compassion crowns the soul with its truest victory.

Quite surprisingly the majority of religious and spiritual practices actually diminishes your brain's ability to act out of rage and fear.
Abhijit Naskar
The term spirit might have evolved in a mystical fashion, but in today's civilized and thinking society, it refers to simply your inner self. Spirit is the self, and the self is the soul. Hence, a spiritual person is a person who is more interested in realizing his or her inner self, than giving in to any conformity of the society.
Abhijit Naskar
In most cases, people argue over the term God, without having the perception of another person's own idea of the word. Hence, often people with an atheistic perspective of the world attribute the God of many religious individuals to be an angry, authoritarian and vengeful God who acts like a human being and lives in the clouds or in heaven. But the irony is, most religious individuals do not conceive God in an anthropomorphic or angry way. Rather, in their personal psychological domain of religious or spiritual beliefs, they conceive God in more abstract, spiritual and merciful way.

Be a survivor of the past, not a reviver of it. Your attention to that painful past either by resisting it or by consistently focusing upon it will continue to persist it. There are two types of seeds in the mind: those that create anger, fear, frustration, jealousy, hatred and those that create love, compassion, equanimity and joy. Spirituality is germination and sprouting of the second group and transforming the first group.

The way I see it, our natural human instinct is to fight or flee that which we perceive to be dangerous. Although this mechanism evolved to protect us, it serves as the single greatest limiting process to our growth. To put this process in perspective and not let it rule my life, Iexpect the unexpected;make the unfamiliar familiar;make the unknown known;make the uncomfortable comfortable;believe the unbelievable.

Maybe the moon just lost herself gazing too long at the brilliance of the sun and that's how she got her glow. And maybe we're made of the same mysterious sort of magic that makes us magnify and mirror whatever we look at the most.
Cristen Rodgers
Don't hide your hurt, beautiful soul. Grab a hold of it. Run it through the purifying flame of your heart and mold it into something beautiful. Allow the depths of your pain to expand the breadth of your compassion. Gather up your stumbling stones and build a bridge for someone else. Remember what it's like to be lost in darkness so you can be someone else's much needed light. Don't deny your pain or bury it away. Let it rise to the surface. And then transform it into something that makes it worthwhile.

I promise from now on to always make time for at least one more. One more chapter before I turn out the light and float off to sleep. One more kiss before I sink into this sea of words and search for meaning to bring back up with me. One more stretch and one more wiggle of my toes before I jump out of bed; and one more moment in meditation before I re-emerge. One more full, deep breath and one more look at the sunset. One more touch, one more smile, one more moment of stillness, of gratitude, of simplicity, of love. From now on, I'll always make room for one more because you never know when one more is all you'll ever have.

Charity (Daan) means to make another living being happy, whether it is a human being or some animals, giving happiness to them, that is what is called Charity. Dada Bhagwan
If one departs from the bliss of the Eternal, he will come across the happiness that is obtained from the temporary.

Dada Bhagwan
The saints have to 'drink poison' (worldly suffering) and the world has to 'drink nectar' (worldly pleasures). Because people are weak.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
In this world, if you raise objections saying, 'my mother-in-law harasses me. My father-in-law harasses me', then there is no end to it. Instead, just put up a sign that says, 'no objection whatsoever!' Even if someone comes raising objection [issues with you], you do not let any problems with him, can you or can you not keep it that way?
Dada Bhagwan
Worldly life is not an impediment; your obstinacies and your ignorance of the self are only the impediments.
Dada Bhagwan
Humans in this world live based on two things: one is on the basis of the Self and the other is on the basis of the egoism.
Dada Bhagwan
There is no happiness in what worldly people believe happiness in, there is happiness in what Gnani [the enlightened one] believes the happiness in. What people regard as happiness is not happiness.
Dada Bhagwan
Pure Soul and circumstances; there are only these two; but the disturbance of egoism does not allow it to be at peace.
Dada Bhagwan
The worldly life relationships are that of selfishness. All relationships are relative (temporary). Only the relationship with the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] is real. He has infinite compassion for you. He has become one with his soul [atma swaroop] and therefore he brings forth all your solutions (and liberates you).
Dada Bhagwan

One does not know how to interact in life. He should remain untouched in the worldly life. When one remains untouched in the worldly life, there is no end to the bliss that arises!
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
All those that don't allow us to do things for the Soul (our True Self), they are our opposers (kashays); we shouldn't listen to them.
Dada Bhagwan
The reaction of whatever you do will continue punishing you (hold you accountable). I do not have to come to punish you, says God.
Dada Bhagwan
People in the world ask for forgiveness, but [true] 'pratikraman' does not happen by doing that. That is like when people casually say 'sorry' or 'thank you'. There is no significance in that; the significance is of 'alochana-pratikraman-pratyakhyan' (acknowledgement of the mistake, repentance and asking for forgiveness for the mistake, remorse and avowal not to repeat the mistake, respectively).
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
How does 'common sense' arise? Through conflicts. During conflicts, if one does not clash with anyone, even if the other person comes clashing with him, he should not clash with him. If one is able to remain this way, 'common sense' will arise. Otherwise, whatever 'common sense' there is, it too will disappear!
Dada Bhagwan
When they say that, 'God takes avatar (reincarnates)' is incorrect. He is known as an avatari when last two or three incarnations (before Moksha) remain. God does not have the ability at all to do karma! Man does not have that ability either. It is due to illusion that he feels 'I did it'!
Dada Bhagwan
Keep one goal only and that is 'to know thy Self [Soul]'. Do not be insistent about 'I want to do this and do that'. Whatever happens, at whatever time, is correct.
Dada Bhagwan
This [worldly suffering] is indeed the result of a flawed-vision. When this flawed-vision goes away, the world will be seen As it is. By sitting with the 'Experienced Person' whose flawed-vision is gone, our flawed-vision will go away. Nothing else will make it go away.
Dada Bhagwan

It is not acceptable coming from any ordinary person. It must be from one whose speech has power (vachanbad), so that it will be present when needed. The Gnan [Knowledge] has to present itself, otherwise the work cannot be accomplished.
Dada Bhagwan
Advice should only be given when it is sought, otherwise our own worthiness gets assessed.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
Who we are' and 'what is our own' that we have to understand; it is not something we have to tell others.
Dada Bhagwan
Prakruti [the relative self, innate nature] has opinions and may store them but we should stay in an opinion-free state. 'We' are separate and the relative self is separate from us. 'We' should play our part as a separate entity. We shouldn't get involved with those problems.
Dada Bhagwan
The amount of abhorrence that departs, that much of 'Pure Love' arises. When abhorrence goes away completely, then Pure Love arises in totality. This is the only way.
Dada Bhagwan
No one has been successful in this 'race course'. One simply dies of exhaustion from running. 'We' (the Gnani Purush, the enlightened one) never take part in this race. 'We' would simply tell, 'Dear Man, I am not capable.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
We can say that one has remained [correctly] in worldly interaction if one has 'adjusted everywhere'.

Dada Bhagwan
Arrogant pride (abhimaan) means public display of self-pride (maan).
Dada Bhagwan
All the pains in this world are assumed pains. It is 'wrong belief'! People have the illusion of pain. This illusion is being experienced. What was seen with the eyes is not being experienced. To have illusory experience means to spend the entire night 'dying' in the fear of ghosts. That is what it is.
Dada Bhagwan
No one dies in the language of the Gnani (the Self-realized one) and every one dies in the language of the agnani (non-Self-realized person). The agnani (non-Self-realized person) mourns and grieves, and the Gnani simply 'Sees'.
Dada Bhagwan
Anything you strive to correct, it will increasingly become wrong. So just let go of that which does not turn out right.

When one gathers all the books of all worldly religions, when one beholds (dharan) them, then the phenomenon of religious upholding (dharma dharan) occurs. Here, we make you 'drink' (absorb) directly, the 'Extract of the Knowledge'.
Dada Bhagwan

Dada Bhagwan
Man has obeyed commands of the Mother, the Father, the Guru; but he has not obeyed the commands of 'God' (Bhagwan). Had he obeyed 'God's' commands, his work (for liberation) would have been accomplished. Alas! He will follow his boss's commands and even his wife's commands!

Dada Bhagwan
The whole world dislikes kashays (inner weakness of anger-pride-deceit-greed) and yet, all the kashays of the world are done willfully. One doesn't like to be angry and yet he claims anger is necessary.
Dada Bhagwan
The whole world can be explained in just one sentence. 'What is being discharged (visarjan) is old and what is being charged (sarjan) is new'. If someone is discharging bad behavior but at the same time, has learned from the 'Gnani Purush' [the enlightened one]; he would be charging a higher life form!
Dada Bhagwan
To worship means to go higher. If you join the one who has gone higher, you will go higher and if you speak ill of that person, you will fall down.

Dada Bhagwan
The Lord has said to the worldly people, if someone possesses certain energies, by recalling that person, the same energies will arise within you. If you don't know how to ask for godly energies, but if you want to jump, then by recalling a monkey and asking for energies from him, you will be able to do so. If you want to bark, you have to ask for the energy from a dog! The Gnani [The Enlightened One] has infinite energies; if you recall Him, you will attain all those energies!
Dada Bhagwan
Wherever there is kashay, there is no religion of the Vitarag at all. God does not want one to renounce anything. One needs to become free from kashays. Kashay-free state is considered the religion of moksha, while renouncing is considered religion of the world.
Dada Bhagwan
As long one is not able to let go of the insistence on a certain opinion [faith, sect], he has not earned the right for Moksha [Ultimate Liberation]. He is not worthy of Moksha if he is in the sect. He is only worthy of material happiness; he is worthy of a celestial life.

Dada Bhagwan
Saints guide people on the path of religion [dharma] and the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] grants 'liberation' (moksha).

You will especially not find anyone who speaks bitterly to you. All the 'diseases' [worldly suffering] remains due to the sweetness. Bitterness will remove the disease, sweetness will increase it. Your life should be such that you will not have to listen to bitter words. If however, you have to listen to bitter words, then you should listen to it. It is always beneficial.

Dada Bhagwan
There should not be opinion regarding anything. Opinion means you are supporting it. 'Know' the wrong as wrong, 'Know' right as right. There should not be any attachment (raag) towards the right, and abhorrence (dwesh) towards the wrong. There is no such thing as right or wrong. Right and wrong is a duality, it is illusionary vision, it is a societal belief. God does not see it that way. In God's view, having a dinner on the table or going to toilet, they are both the same.
Dada Bhagwan
Chit's tendencies can become pure [transparent] in front of God, but people don't have this knowhow. The easiest solution to purify chit's tendencies is to associate with a person who has the least amount of desires and the ultimate solution to make them pure is the inner visual contemplation (niddidhyasan) of the Vitarag (the enlightened ones who are free of all attachments).
Dada Bhagwan
People take worship (bhakti) into the relative plane. They consider singing religious songs as worship. Worship [bhakti] can never be without knowledge (gnan). Worship will make one become the one who he worships.

Dada Bhagwan
The mind-speech-body's atoms [indivisible part of matter] are 'effective'. What does the [spiritual] 'science' say? Why do you experience the 'effect'? You just have to 'know' the 'effect'.
Dada Bhagwan
There is worldly life where there is competition and where there is no competition, there is 'Gnan', (true) Knowledge.
